Lana Del Rey has shared some poems and haikus from her upcoming poetry book, ‘Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass’.

The two poems shared so far are titled ‘Happy’ and ‘Quiet Waiter-Blue Forever’. Marina Diamandis shared the latter, adding “Lana = an incredible poet”.

Lana also shared a painting she did of a woman crying rainbow tears. Of the painting, she said: “I love when my picture turns out like how I pictured.”

EDIT: Lana posted an update to Instagram which says: “Hey! So I’m like super excited about self publishing my first poetry book. And I just wanted to say any mom-and-pop SoCal/San Fran book stores that are interested in having it just let me know and I’ll drive you out a couple boxes when I’m done binding it a few months xx”
