Lana Del Rey posted a video to her Instagram account revealing that she will be deactivating her social media accounts tomorrow. She said this is because she has “so many other interests and other jobs I’m doing that require privacy and transparency.”

Lana thanked her fans for all of our support and hopes we will like her new album, ‘Blue Banisters’. She said her new record is a complication of older and newer songs some written by family, friends, and old collaborators. “There will always be more to come.”

She added that she will always still be very present and is of course working on more records, her spoken word album, and her poetry books. “I’m still very present and love what I do and I’m absolutely here for the music.”

“Thank you for seeing me through the music. It’s always important to be witnessed.” Lana said she’s going to keep her circle a little closer and develop some other skill and interests.

“I’m always here making lots of records and in the meantime living life. I’ve really enjoyed sharing all these very small titbits with you and I’m really blessed so thank you. Signing off…”
