NME caught up with Father John Misty at the Brit Awards on February 24.
Father John Misty described working with Lana Del Rey as “a dream” and says he would “definitely” like to collaborate with her again.
He adds that they currently have no firm plans to team up again.
Of appearing in the video for ‘Freak.’ Father John Misty said “It was a dream, I’d do anything she told me to. That’s what I enjoyed about the video, just being her puppet. I like being told what to do by a woman in that position.”
He added that his appearance in the video was inspired by the time he took acid at a Taylor Swift gig. “I took acid at Taylor Swift. I thought this was the best tim eto tell you.” Lana said “I forgot he did go to that show. In Australia? Good time to hallucinate?”

Lana has always expressed her admiration for Father John Misty and invited him to support her on tour in 2014.
