Lana Del Rey is reportedly in the frame to sing the theme tune for the next – as yet unnamed – James Bond movie.

Young British star Sam Smith had previously been reported to be the favourite for the job, and to have been in talks with producer Barbara Broccoli but now several sources are reporting that Lana is also under consideration.

A source told The Sun: “Producers know it has to be a great song with a killer vocal to rival the phenomenal success of Adele’s Skyfall.

Lana Del Rey has recorded a new song called “Wait for Life” for Emile Haynie’s new album coming out in October!

According to the producer, this song that contains vocals of Lana will probably become the second single.

Two days after performing at Rock en Seine, Lana Del Rey was spotted shopping in Paris. She was also supposed to give a private concert at Trianon on August 25 but unfortunately it got postponed and rescheduled to September 14. More information here.
