On February 11, some fans met Lana Del Rey in a thrift store in Austin, Texas. Lana was in Austin for her performance at the Frank C Erwin Special Events Center later that night.

Baileigh said she was in the Blue Velvet thrift shop, wearing her Lust For Life hoodie, when she heard someone behind her say “I love your jacket”. To her surprise, it was Lana Del Rey herself.

Baileigh said she had all of Lana’s albums and artwork in her car, adding “tell me it wasn’t meant to be.” She got them for Lana to sign, and gave her the artwork she made. Lana also drew some hearts for Baileigh, and when she said she’ll be getting a tattoo Lana said “NO!” – but Baileigh got it anyway!

In her tweets outlining the experience, Baileigh said “she was seriously the sweetest human. I feel so grateful. I’m so so so happy. Seriously any other artist could see tour merch and just walk away, but she came up to me and I just literally cannot believe it. She was SO nice. I’m so in love with her as a human.”
